What is Vetrade and who is it for?
Vetrade is a supplier and buyer verification platform built for Indian import/export businesses. It runs GST, IEC, B2B platform, news fraud, and social presence checks on any business — in a single automated report. It is designed for traders who deal with unfamiliar suppliers or buyers before transferring advance payments.
How does Vetrade verify a supplier or buyer?
Vetrade runs seven checks: GST registration and filing history, IEC status, Google Places matching, news and fraud scans, B2B platform presence (IndiaMART, TradeIndia, Alibaba, JustDial), LinkedIn presence, and SSL/web footprint. Missing data is flagged as a verification gap — not treated as a negative — so small legitimate businesses are not penalised.
Why is Semperworks different from generic business verification tools?
Semperworks products are built by people who run an actual Indian trading business. Every design decision — which checks to run, how to weight missing data, which platforms matter in Indian B2B — comes from firsthand experience losing money to a fraudulent supplier and building the checklist we wished existed.
Is Vetrade available on WhatsApp or mobile?
WhatsApp-native delivery is on the active roadmap. The current web platform is fully mobile-responsive. We build for how Indian traders actually work — on mobile, on WhatsApp, often in Hindi-English.
What does Semperworks plan to build next?
We are working on tools adjacent to trade finance, shipment tracking, and export documentation. All roadmap decisions start with what our own trading business at Unceasing Impex actually needs — not VC priorities.
